Kikus base body can come in three different variations- Fennec, Faerie, and Guardian. There are many different ways these traits manifest themselves, and can even mix between builds. Generally, Fennec will be the smallest of the bunch. Their short legs and rounded body are two key characteristics. Faeries are the more sleek, elegant build of the bunch. Known for their longer legs and torso, they are quick in step. Finally, the Guardian builds are known for the stocky, brawny build. These Kiku make formidable foes!
From Birth to Dust
Kikumoria's are born from the essence of two beings. Two Kikumoria take the journey to the sacred Moonpool, where they each deposit a small amount of their soul's essence. The pool will incubate and grow the Kikumoria, and once ready to be released, will float to the top, followed by their aetherbeads. From then on, the Kikumoria will live thousands upon thousands of years- and if lucky enough to succumb to a natural death, the Kikumoria will make their final travel to the sacred forest where the Trees of Life lay. Finding a comfortable spot under the dappled light, the Kikumoria will rest. Their aetherbeads crack, emitting a surge of light, cascading the body and rendering it to dust that blows away with the wind, returning it's essence to the lifeline of the forest for another new soul to take root.
Key Traits
Kikus, unless altered, will always have a set of horns, ears, eyes, and a tail. Horn and eye color are always synonymous unless changed by a trait or item. Kiku will display a tear stain as well, which also normally take on the same color as the eyes, and horns.

Manacore & Magic
Every Kiku has a core with mana. Some have small pools, some much larger. Mana is a wealth of power held in a Kikumoria’s core (often found in the chest). Mana allows Kiku to perform magic and become wielders of an Aspect. Magic is most often utilized for mundane tasks, but there are those who dedicate their lives to other paths that call for more skilled use. Some Kiku are gifted wielders, others not so much! Technique can be worked on to utilize what little mana one has to be as useful as even those with deeper pools.
Going too long without rest and allowing your mana to replenish once depleted can cause your core to raise the bodies temperatures to unsafe levevls, causing the Kiku to descend into madness and oftentimes will become unaware and uncontrollable. This can result in a permanent manifestation of madness, or death. Normally, this causes the Aetherbeads to crack or even shatter completely into fragments. If the Aetherbeads shatter irreparably, there is a slim chance the Kiku will be able to recover from the exertion. If they are able to, normally, they will have little to no mana left.

Society
Kikumoria are a social species, living in small interconnected communities. Elementalists of all different kinds and skill live together, each paving their own fate among each other. Being a social species, there is also a lot of collaboration and innovation. There are festivals throughout the year to celebrate and bring honor to the gods and deities that rule our realm, encouraging each other to foster friendly rivalry and showcase abilities.
Soulmates
Being a social species, Kiku’s often find peace and comfort in companionship. It is not unlikely to find your Soulmate in such a large world! Sometimes, powerful connections manifest in mana pouring into a Kiku’s aetherbeads, pulsating with light when feeling loved and fulfilled. Synchronized pulses between two Kikumoria normally denote a special bond. This can be between parents and offspring as well.
Home Life

From birth to about 20 years of age Kikus will normally stay with their families in small homes build from dug out hills called a Burrow, or sometimes in communities that share a large stretch of land. Young adults normally live in small homes or hostels during their transformative years when theyre exploring the realm and training to become a fully fledged elementalist.
Council Hierarchy
The council consists of six renowned and trusted Kikumoria, including the head of the realm. These individuals have committed their lives to governing the domain and ensuring the balance of the realm. These individuals are also teachers, and when they are not performing realm duties, they can often be found in their respective locations training their pupils.

Gods & Deities
Doki, Voliursa, Pond, Rex, Remi, Mirthra
2 gods, Soleli (sun) and Nox (moon)
1 fallen god Mortiferus
There was a time where Kikumoria were nomadic, conjuring in four divided groups amongst the realm. Each of the four clans had different morals and goals. Some sought to master all eight Aspects of the Elements, others dedicated their entire existence to the worship of the gods that watched over Solaria. They were known as Soleli, God of the Sun and Nox, Goddess of the Moon. The two generous gods loved each other, and the small but bountiful realm hidden in the cover of clouds. But there was also Mortiferous, a being mentioned by mothers to their children as a cautionary tale. He is known to consume entire realms, a hunger so fierce even they do not satisfy him. Purging once fruitful realms, he leaves them uninhabitable and crawling with vile creations with long black claws, and razor sharp teeth. It was not until the clans had been threatened by him and his demon ilk that they became one people, uniting as one and driving the plague out. Mortiferous was banished by Soleli and Nox, having him bound to a star, forever to burn in the sky.
After the event, the Kikumoria created what is now known as the council, with its purpose to ensure peace and harmony between all. Since then, the clans have been disbanded and all but forgotten, except for the mention of them during bedtime stories. Only a few of the oldest in the realm remember the true events from that day- including the Deities born from Soleli and Nox. The Deities are the children of the two gods, and beloved by Kikus. They often meet with the living beings of Solaria, and finishing quests for them can be quite rewarding!
